Built for low-light conditions, deeper water, and trout feeding on darker chironomid patterns, the Midnight Chironomid features a deep black body with vivid blue iridescent flash and bright silver ribbing. A contrasting white bead adds a highly visible trigger point, while the slim, segmented body maintains the natural profile of an emerging chironomid.

Each fly is hand-tied on a Firehole Sticks hook and finished with a tungsten bead to get the fly down quickly and keep it in the strike zone. Available in sizes #10, #12, and #14 to match a variety of chironomid sizes and feeding conditions.

Ideal for trout in lakes, ponds, and reservoirs. Fish it beneath an indicator, as part of a multi-fly chironomid rig, or with a slow retrieve through suspended fish.
