Wine Chironomid | 4 Pack

Includes 4 hand-tied flies per pack.

Designed for trout feeding on chironomid pupae, the Wine Chironomid pairs a rich wine-red body with silver ribbing and a contrasting white bead. Its slender, segmented profile delivers a natural insect silhouette, while the subtle shimmer adds just enough flash to draw attention without overwhelming the presentation.

Each fly is hand-tied on a Firehole Sticks hook and finished with a tungsten bead to help it get down quickly without adding a bulky profile. Available in sizes #10, #12, and #14 to help match the size of the insects trout are feeding on.

An excellent choice for trout in lakes, ponds, and reservoirs, the Wine Chironomid can be suspended beneath an indicator or fished with a slow retrieve. Adjust your depth to target feeding fish and let the fly’s understated flash and realistic profile do the work.
